- 3 to 3-1/2 cups pecan halves
- 4 lg. eggs
- 1 cup brown sugar
- 6 tbsp. butter, melted
- 1 cup dark corn syrup
- 3 tsp. vanilla extract
- 1 premade pastry crust
Directions

1Heat oven to 350F.

2Chop up 2 cups of the pecan halves; set aside.

3Beat the eggs, corn syrup, butter, brown sugar, and vanilla in a mixing bowl until well blended (about 2 minutes).

4Add the chopped pecans and stir.

5Pour filling into the pastry shell.

6Add remaining pecan halves to top of pie filling and put into a concentric design.

7Bake for 70 minutes at 350F.

8Cool.

9Serve with whipped cream or vanilla ice cream.
