Ingredients

  • 1 c. white corn syrup
  • 1 c. dark brown sugar
  • 1/3 tsp. salt (may omit)
  • 1/3 c. melted butter
  • 1 tsp. vanilla
  • 3 eggs, slightly beaten
  • 1 c. pecans

Directions

    Combine syrup, sugar, butter, vanilla and salt.

    Mix well. Add eggs. Stir in pecans.

    Pour into 9-inch unbaked pie shell. Bake at 350° for 50 minutes to 1 hour.

    I bake 50 minutes in a glass pie plate.
