- 4 c. flour
- 1 Tbsp. sugar
- 2 tsp. salt
- 1 3/4 c. shortening
- 1/2 c. ice water
- 1 Tbsp. vinegar
- 1 egg
Directions

1Sift together flour, sugar and salt.

2Add shortening and mix until crumbly.

3In small bowl beat together the ice water, vinegar and egg.

4Add to flour mixture and stir ingredients until moist. Divide dough into five balls.

5Wrap each in plastic bag and refrigerate about 30 minutes before rolling.

6Pastry will keep in refrigerator 3 days or can be stored in freezer.

7Makes 2 double and 1 single crusts.
