- pastry for 10-inch pie shell
- 1 lb. bacon
- 1 1/2 c. diced Swiss cheese
- 4 eggs, beaten
- 1 c. whipping cream
- 1 c. half and half
- 1 Tbsp. all-purpose flour
- 3/4 tsp. salt
- dash of pepper
- dash of nutmeg
Directions

1Line a 10-inch quiche dish or pie pan with pastry.

2Trim excess pastry around edges.

3Bake at 400° for 3 minutes.

4Remove from oven and gently prick with a fork.

5Bake 5 minutes longer.

6Let cool on rack.

7Fry bacon until crisp; drain.

8Crumble bacon and place in pastry shell.

9Sprinkle with cheese.

10Combine remaining ingredients, stirring well.

11Pour over the cheese in pastry shell. Bake at 375° for 65 minutes or until set.
