Pernil (Pork Shoulder)

  • 10 lbs pork shoulder (or smaller)
  • 10 garlic cloves
  • 4 tablespoons all purpose seasoning (Adobo)
  • 1 cup vinegar
  • 1 cup canola oil
  • salt and pepper

    Preheat oven at 350F.

    Using a mortar, crush the garlic cloves and add 1 tbs of all purpose seasoning.

    In a medium bowl, mix oil, vinegar, garlic/adobo paste, and remaining of the APS.

    Add salt and pepper and mix.

    Rub pork with mixture.

    Bake for 3-5 hrs at 350F turn the pork leg every 30 minutes.
