  • 1/2 cup egg noodles
  • 4 cups mashed potatoes (can use instant)
  • 3 tbsp. sharp cheese
  • 2 tbsp. dry minced onion
  • 1/2 lb. sliced American cheese
  • 2 sticks butter
  • margarine
  • 4 lg. onions, diced and sauteed

Directions

    Mix mashed potatoes, cheddar and minced dry onion.

    Grease 2 quart casserole.

    Layer ingredients starting with 1/3 of the noodles, 1/3 of the cheese, 1/3 of the potato mixture and 1/3 of the sauteed onions.

    Repeat two more times.

    Bake at 350F for 30 minutes.
