- 1 pt. or 2 c. persimmon pulp
- 2 eggs
- 2 c. flour
- 2 c. sugar
- 2 tsp. baking powder
- 1/2 tsp. salt
- 1 stick butter or margarine
- 1 large can evaporated milk
- 1 tsp. vanilla (if desired)
- 1/3 c. chopped nuts
Directions

1Place margarine in large oblong pan.

2Melt in oven as you mix other ingredients.

3Stir eggs into persimmon pulp and sugar. Alternate milk, flour, baking powder and salt.

4Add margarine last.

5Pour back in pan.

6Sprinkle with nuts (optional).

7Bake in 375° oven 45 minutes or until firm.

8Cut in squares and serve.
