- 2 c. persimmon pulp
- 2 c. sugar
- 1/4 c. melted butter
- 4 eggs
- 1 c. sour milk
- 1 tsp. baking soda
- 3/4 c. water
- 1 Tbsp. butter
- 1 1/2 c. sugar
Directions

1Put persimmon pulp, 2 cups sugar, 1/4 cup melted butter, eggs, sour milk and baking soda in large bowl.

2Mix and pour into cake pan.

3Bake at 350° for 1 hour.

4When done, take out of oven and poke holes in cake.

5Bring water, 1 tablespoon butter and 1 1/2 cups of sugar to a boil in pan.

6Pour over cake.

7Put back in oven for about 10 minutes.
