- 1 qt. persimmon pulp
- 2 c. granulated sugar
- 4 c. flour
- 1 tsp. powdered nutmeg
- 1 tsp. vanilla flavoring
- 3 eggs
- 1 c. buttermilk
- 1 tall can evaporated milk
- 1 tsp. powdered cinnamon
- 2 tsp. baking powder
- 1 1/2 sticks margarine
- 1 1/2 tsp. baking soda
Directions

1It takes 1/2 gallon persimmons to make 1 quart of pulp in colander.

2Add a little water to persimmons, makes them easier to puree.

3Mix ingredients, except margarine.

4Melt it in a 9 x 13-inch baking pan.

5Bake in oven at 350° for 1 1/2 hours until done.
