- 2 c. persimmon pulp
- 1 1/4 c. sugar
- 1 tsp. baking powder
- 1/2 tsp. salt
- 1/2 tsp. nutmeg
- 3 eggs
- 1 1/2 c. all-purpose flour
- 1 tsp. baking soda
- 1/2 c. melted butter
- 2 tsp. cinnamon
- 1 tsp. ginger or allspice
Directions

1Combine pulp, eggs, sugar, melted butter and milk.

2Thoroughly mix flour and other dry ingredients and combine with pulp mixture. Pour into greased loaf pan or large baking bowl.

3Bake at 325° for one hour, stirring often.

4Serve warm or chilled, topped with whipped cream.
