- 1 c. persimmon pulp
- 2 c. white sugar
- 2 c. sweet milk
- 2 c. sweet potatoes, grated or boiled
- 2 c. flour
- 2 tsp. baking powder
- 1/2 c. melted butter or margarine
- 2 eggs
- 1/2 tsp. soda
- 1 tsp. cinnamon
- 1/4 tsp. allspice
Directions

1Mix persimmon, sweet potatoes, sugar, eggs and milk together. Add flour mixture (dry ingredients, which have been mixed together), a little at a time, beating until smooth after each addition.

2Stir in butter.

3Pour mixture into greased and floured baking pan.

4Bake in oven at 350° until firm, about 1 1/4 hours. Nuts, raisins or coconut may be added, if desired.
