  • 1/2 c. butter
  • 2 c. sugar
  • 3 eggs
  • 1 c. persimmon pulp
  • 1 tsp. soda
  • 1 c. flour
  • 1 tsp. cinnamon
  • 1 tsp. nutmeg
  • 1/2 tsp. cloves
  • pinch of salt
  • 1 tsp. vanilla
  • 3 c. milk

Directions

    Cream together butter, sugar and eggs.

    Add soda to pulp, then add to creamed mixture.

    Sift dry ingredients together and add to mixture.

    Mix well.

    Add milk and vanilla and mix.

    Pour into a greased and floured 9 x 13-inch pan and bake 1 1/2 hours at 350°. Check after 1 hour.
