- 2 qt. persimmon
- 1/4 tsp. cinnamon
- 1/2 tsp. allspice
- 4 eggs, beaten
- 1/2 c. buttermilk
- 1/3 c. water
- 2 c. flour
- 2 c. sugar
- 1 tsp. soda
- 1/2 c. melted butter
Directions

1Seed persimmons by pressing through a sieve with the water. Add sugar to persimmon pulp, then beaten eggs.

2Stir soda into buttermilk and add alternately with the sifted dry ingredients. Lastly, stir in butter.

3Pour into greased pan.

4Bake at 350° for 35 to 40 minutes.
