- 1/2 c. olive oil
- 1/2 c. pinenuts or walnuts, chopped
- 1/2 c. Romano or Parmesan cheese
- 2 large garlic cloves
Directions

1Whirl the basil, garlic, nuts and cheese in blender or food processor until mixed well.

2Then add olive oil in slow steady stream until a smooth paste is formed.

3Use in pasta, as a sauce for pizza or on a slice of bread with lettuce and tomato.

4May be refrigerated up to a month.

5Pour a thick layer of olive oil on top to keep from discoloring.
