  • 2 cups Fresh Basil Leaves
  • 2 Tablespoons Fresh Parsley
  • 3 cloves Garlic, Peeled
  • 1/4 cups Pine Nuts
  • 2/3 cups Extra Virgin Olive Oil, Divided
  • 1/2 cups Parmesan Or Romano Cheese, (grated)

Directions

    Place basil, parsley, garlic and pine nuts in the bowl of the food processor. Process until blended. Add 1/2 cups oil and process until smooth.

    If using right away, add remaining oil and mix in cheese.

    If freezing, put mixture in an airtight container and put remaining oil over top. Freeze up to 3 months. When ready to use, thaw and stir in cheese.
