- 3 Tbsp. margarine
- 3 Tbsp. cocoa powder
- 2 1/2 c. sugar
- 3/4 c. and 2 Tbsp. evaporated milk
- 1 tsp. corn syrup
Directions

1Melt margarine in a heavy saucepan; add cocoa and sugar.

2Mix well.

3Then add evaporated milk and syrup.

4Cook until boiling, stirring constantly.

5Clip candy thermometer to side of pan; reduce heat.

6Cook to 230°.

7Pour mixture into glass bowl.

8Cool until thermometer reads 100°.

9Hand beat mixture until it looks like frosting; pour into buttered square 8 x 8-inch pan and spread evenly.

10Cut into squares.
