Ingredients
- 1 1/2 lb. stewing beef
- 1 Tbsp. vegetable oil
- garlic powder
- Worcestershire sauce
- 1 c. water
- 1 can pasta style stewed tomatoes
- 1 green pepper, cut in medium size pieces
- 4 potatoes, peeled and quartered
- 5 carrots, scraped and cut into 1-inch pieces
- 2 large onions, quartered
- 1/2 medium rutabaga, cut into chunks
- 1 can cream of mushroom soup
Directions

1Brown beef in oil; sprinkle with garlic powder and Worcestershire sauce.

2Pour off excess grease.

3Add tomatoes and one cup of water; add additional Worcestershire sauce if desired. Let simmer for about 45 minutes.

4Put in carrots and rutabaga and cook for 20 minutes and add onions.

5About 10 minutes later, add potatoes.

6Cook until vegetables are done.

7Stir in mushroom soup and blend well.
