- 3 lb. pork (include some pork liver)
- 3 qt. water
- 4 c. buckwheat
- 2 c. cornmeal
- 1/4 tsp. sage
- 1/4 tsp. salt
- 1/8 tsp. pepper
Directions

1Cook pork in water until tender.

2Remove meat and let broth cool; skim off fat.

3Grind meat and return to broth.

4Add seasonings and return to a boil.

5Combine flour and cornmeal; slowly add to cooking mixture, stirring constantly.

6Boil for one hour, stirring often.

7Pour into loaf pans and let cool.
