"Philly" Pound Cake

- 3/4 c. margarine
- 8 oz. pkg. cream cheese *
- 1 1/2 c. sugar
- 1 1/2 tsp. vanilla
- 4 eggs
- 2 c. sifted cake flour **
- 1 1/2 tsp. baking powder
- powdered sugar
Directions

1Thoroughly blend margarine, cream cheese, sugar and vanilla. Add eggs, one at a time, mixing well after each addition. Gradually add flour (sifted with baking powder).

2Pour into waxed paper lined 9 x 5-inch pan.

3Bake at 325° for 1 hour and 10 minutes or until done.

4Let stand for 5 minutes; turn out of pan to cool.

5Sprinkle with powdered sugar.
