Ingredients
- 2 lb. bread flour
- 2 pkg. instant yeast
- 1 Tbsp. salt
- 1 1/2 Tbsp. sugar
- 1/2 lb. butter or margarine
- 1/4 lb. Crisco
- 1 lb. white Cheddar cheese
Directions

1Mix together the flour, yeast, salt, sugar and Crisco; mix well.

2Add water to make a dough; knead well.

3Let rise 1 hour. Knead again; make 2 balls with dough.

4Sprinkle with flour; let stand for 1/2 hour.

5Roll out on floured board 1 inch thick; spread butter all over.

6Add grated cheese all over and fold in dough, making sure the ends are tucked in.

7Place on a greased baking sheet; bake at 375° until light brown.
