  • 12 sheets frozen phyllo dough (18 x 14-inches), thawed
  • 1/2 c. margarine, melted
  • 2 (12 oz.) pkg. frozen spinach souffle, thawed
  • 1 (8 oz.) can water chestnuts, drained and finely chopped

Directions

    Arrange 6 sheets of the phyllo in the bottom of a 15 x 10-inch baking pan; brush with margarine between each sheet.

    (Allow edges of dough to overlap.)

    Spread souffle over dough.

    Sprinkle with water chestnuts.

    Top with remaining phyllo; brush with margarine again between each sheet.

    Fold edges of phyllo toward center; brush with remaining margarine.

    Score top layers into 48 squares or diamonds.

    Bake at 400° for 30 minutes, or until golden brown. Cut through all layers.
