- 1 lb. lean ground beef
- 1 onion, chopped
- 2 Tbsp. vinegar
- 1 tsp. cinnamon
- 1 tsp. chili powder
- 1/4 tsp. cumin (optional)
- 1 (14 1/2 oz.) can whole tomatoes
- 1/2 tsp. salt
- 1 or 2 jalapeno peppers, diced (optional)
- 1/2 c. raisins
- 1/2 c. slivered almonds
Directions

1Brown ground beef and onion in skillet.

2Add tomatoes, vinegar, cinnamon, chili powder, salt, raisins and optional ingredients. Simmer with cover for 45 to 60 minutes.

3Stir in slivered almonds. Serve with tortilla chips or wrap in flour tortillas.

4Can also serve with shredded cheese and lettuce.
