- 4 c. onions, chopped
- 1/4 to 1/2 c. cayenne peppers, chopped
- 1/4 c. salt
- 1 tsp. alum
- 2 tsp. black pepper
- 1 1/2 Tbsp. chili powder
- 1 tsp. cumin
- 1 1/2 c. vinegar
Directions

1Simmer 1 1/2 hours or until thickened as you like it.

2Put into pint jars and process 30 minutes in boiling water bath. Makes 10 pints.
