- 12 sweet peppers (green)
- 12 onions
- 3 stalks celery
- 3/4 c. salt
- 2 qt. cider vinegar
- 3 lb. brown sugar
- 1 Tbsp. mustard seed
- 1 Tbsp. whole cloves
- 1 Tbsp. stick cinnamon
Directions

1Core tomatoes.

2Grind tomatoes, peppers, onion and celery. Mix in salt; let stand overnight.

3Drain well.

4Combine sugar and vinegar.

5Heat, stirring, until sugar melts.

6Add mustard seed. Tie cloves and cinnamon in small bag and add to mixture.

7Bring to simmer.

8Cook 35 minutes after it starts to boil.
