- 1 qt. dill Kosher pickles
- 1 1/2 c. sugar
- 1 medium onion, chopped fine
- 1 tsp. celery seed
- 3 tsp. vinegar
- 1 tsp. prepared horseradish
Directions

1Drain 1 quart pickles.

2Cut in strips.

3Place pickles back in jar and add sugar, onion, celery seed, vinegar and horseradish. Add 1/2 of sugar to bottom of jar and 1/2 on top of pickles.

4Put top on jar and shake jar until all sugar dissolves.

5Place in refrigerator and shake jar occasionally.

6Twenty-four hours later, they are ready to eat.
