- 4 c. onion
- 1 medium cabbage
- 10 green tomatoes
- 12 green hot peppers
- 6 red sweet peppers
- 1/2 c. pickling salt
- 6 c. sugar
- 4 c. vinegar
- 2 c. water
- 1 Tbsp. celery seed
- 1-1/2 tsp. turmeric
Directions

1Grind vegetables using a coarse blade.

2Sprinkle with salt. Let stand overnight.

3(Do not use aluminum pot.)

4Rinse and drain next day.

5Combine remaining ingredients and pour over mixture. Heat to boil.

6Reduce heat and simmer for 5 minutes.

7Seal in sterilized jars.

8Makes 8 pints
