  • 2 (16 oz. each) cans sliced beets
  • 1 1/2 c. sugar
  • 3/4 c. vinegar
  • 2 (3-inch) sticks cinnamon

Directions

    Drain beets, reserving liquid in saucepan. Add sugar, vinegar and cinnamon sticks to reserved liquid.

    Heat to boiling, stirring constantly.

    Pour over beets; cool.

    Cover and refrigerate at least 8 hours.
