- 2 c. vinegar
- 1/2 c. water
- 1 Tbsp. salt
- 1 Tbsp. mustard seeds
- 12 hard-boiled eggs
- 2 Tbsp. prepared mustard
- 1/4 c. sugar
- 1 Tbsp. celery seeds
- 6 whole cloves
- 2 onions, thinly sliced
Directions

1Blend vinegar slowly into mustard in saucepan.

2Add water, sugar, salt, celery seeds, mustard seeds and cloves.

3Simmer 10 minutes.

4Cool.

5Place eggs into glass container.

6Add sliced onions in container with eggs.

7Pour cooled mixture over eggs and onions.

8Cover.

9Allow to marinate in refrigerate for several days before serving.

10Marinade may be used for a second dozen eggs.
