- 2 lb. okra
- 5 pods hot pepper
- 5 garlic cloves or 1 1/2 Tbsp. minced garlic
- 3 1/2 c. white vinegar
- 1/2 c. water
- 4 tsp. salt
- 1 Tbsp. celery seed
- 1 c. sugar
Directions

1Pack washed okra in sterilized jars.

2Boil all ingredients together.

3Pour over okra and seal.

4Cook in hot water bath no longer than 10 minutes.

5Do not boil hot pepper; place in jars along with okra, being sure one pod is in each jar.
