- 2 lb. tender fresh okra
- 5 cloves garlic
- 1 qt. white distilled vinegar
- 1 Tbsp. celery seed
- 5 pods hot pepper
- 1/2 c. water
- 2 Tbsp. salt
Directions

1Wash okra and pack into hot, sterilized pint jars.

2Place a pod of pepper and a clove of garlic in each jar.

3Combine other ingredients and bring to a boil.

4Pour over okra and seal.

5Okra pickles should stand two weeks before using.
