  • 4 c. vinegar
  • 1/2 c. salt
  • 1 c. water
  • peeled garlic cloves
  • hot peppers
  • pickling spices
  • dill seed

Directions

    Leave a short stem on fresh okra (small pods best).

    Pack okra into clean quart jars.
  3. 3
    Into each jar add 1 clove garlic, 1 tablespoon pickling spices, 1 teaspoon dill seed and 1 hot pepper (optional).

    Mix first 3 ingredients and bring to a boil.

    Pour hot liquid over okra and seal.
