- 1 12 teaspoons kosher salt
- 2 cloves garlic
- 1 hot pepper
- 7 okra pods

1Add, mustard seed, salt, garlic, pepper into each pint jar.

2Wide Mouth Jars are the best.

3Pack Okra points down in jar.

4Cover with boiling vinegar mixture.

5Vinegar mixture= 1 quart vinegar and 1/2 quart water.

6DO NOT BOIL EXCESSIVELY.

7Boiling vinegar for extending amount of time will cause it to loose its acidity.

8Seal jars.

9Process in boiling water bath 10 min.

10Wait 6 weeks to eat for the best flavor.
