- 1 large flank or other lean steak
- 1 lb. sausage (bulk)
- 1 large can tomato sauce
- salt and pepper
- garlic salt
- cooking oil
Directions

1Season steak with salt, pepper and garlic salt.

2Spread uncooked sausage on steak, patting down firmly.

3Roll up steak and tie.

4Brown in a small amount of cooking oil.

5(Electric skillet works best.)

6Pour about 1/2 cup sauce over meat.

7Cover and cook at low temperature 1 to 1 1/4 hours, basting occasionally and adding a little sauce now and then.

8Slice to serve.

9Sauce may be thickened to a gravy.
