- 2 pt. small okra, 2 to 3-inches long leaving 1/4-inch stems
- 1 c. cider vinegar
- 1/4 c. water
- 2 Tbsp. salt
- 2 tsp. dill seed
- 4 garlic cloves
- 2 pods hot pepper
Directions

1Boil pint jars for 15 minutes.

2Wash okra with a vegetable brush.

3Bring to boil the vinegar, water and salt.

4Remove hot jars and place washed okra in each jar.

5Add to each jar 1 teaspoon dill seed, 2 garlic cloves and 1 pod of hot pepper.

6Pour boiling liquid mixture into each jar, covering okra.

7Leave 1/2-inch headspace, wipe jar mouth.

8Adjust lids, place in simmering water bath for 5 minutes (200°).

9Wait one month before opening.
