  • 1 gal. peaches
  • 6 c. sugar
  • 2 c. water
  • 4 c. vinegar
  • 2 pieces ginger root
  • 2 sticks cinnamon
  • 2 Tbsp. whole allspice
  • 1 Tbsp. whole cloves

Directions

    Boil 10 minutes, water, vinegar, sugar and spices (tied in cheesecloth).

    Then add peaches.

    Cook until mixture blends in thoroughly, about 10 minutes.

    Pack peaches in sterilized jars. Fill to top with syrup and seal.
