- 4 qt. peaches
- 2 lb. brown sugar
- 1 1/2 pt. vinegar
- 4 sticks cinnamon
- cloves
Directions

1Make a syrup with the sugar, vinegar and cinnamon.

2Cook together for 20 minutes.

3Rub skin off peaches by dipping in boiling water.

4Rub with cloth.

5Stick 2 cloves in each peach. Cook in syrup until peaches are tender.

6Put peaches in jar and boil syrup 10 minutes after peaches have been removed.

7Pour syrup over peaches and seal.
