- green peppers or red pepper
- 4 teaspoons salt
- 4 tablespoons oil
- 4 cups vinegar
- 4 cups water
- 3 cups white sugar
Directions

1Wash peppers.

2Take seeds out and cut into strips.

3Boil in water for 5 minutes.

4Drain and pack into quart jars.

5To the top of each quart add salt and oil.

6Bring vinegar, water and sugar to boil.

7Pour this hot liquid over peppers in jars and seal.
