- 1 1/2 lb. cooked shrimp
- 2 large yellow onions
- 7 to 8 bay leaves
- 1 1/4 c. salad oil
- 3/4 c. white vinegar
- 1 1/2 Tbsp. salt
- 1 1/2 tsp. celery seed
- 2 1/2 Tbsp. capers and juice
- 2 dashes Tabasco
- parsley
Directions

1Clean and cook shrimp.

2Slice onions.

3Alternate layers of shrimp and onion.

4Add bay leaves.

5Combine oil, vinegar, salt, celery seed, capers and juice and Tabasco.

6Mix and pour over shrimp.

7Refrigerate; best if made the night before.

8Before serving, sprinkle parsley on top.
