Ingredients
- 1 1/2 lb. frozen, raw, peeled, cleaned shrimp
- 2 qt. boiling water
- 1 1/2 tsp. celery salt
- 1 1/2 c. salad oil
- 1 c. sliced onions
- 1/2 c. chopped celery leaves
- 1/4 c. whole mixed pickling spice
- 1 1/2 tsp. salt
- 1 1/2 c. white vinegar
Directions

1Thaw shrimp.

2Rinse with cold water.

3Place in boiling water and simmer about 10 minutes.

4Drain and arrange onions and shrimp in alternate layers.

5Simmer for 3 minutes.

6Add rest of ingredients.

7Cover and chill about 6 hours, stirring occasionally.

8Drain and serve on green salad.
