Ingredients
- 3 garlic cloves, chopped
- 2 onions, coarsely chopped
- 1/4 c. salad oil
- 2 lb. deveined and peeled cooked shrimp
- 2 thinly sliced onions
- 1/2 c. salad oil
- 3/4 to 1 c. vinegar
- 1 1/2 tsp. salt
- 1/2 tsp. pepper
- 1/4 tsp. dry chili peppers or pickled peppers
Directions

1Saute the garlic, onions and 1/4 cup salad oil very slowly (approximately 10 minutes). Add shrimp to sauteed mixture.

2Cook slowly about 7 minutes, stirring frequently.

3Cool. In a bowl combine the remaining ingredients.

4Add shrimp.

5Push well down in the liquid. Cover and refrigerate for 24 hours. Serves 4.
