- 4 qt. squash, cut thick
- 1/4 c. salt
- 6 medium onions, chopped
- 3 c. white cider vinegar
- 5 c. sugar
- 1 1/2 tsp. celery seed
- 1 1/2 tsp. mustard seed
- 1 tsp. turmeric
Directions

1Sprinkle salt over onions and squash.

2Put ice on top.

3Let stand 3 hours; drain.

4Mix the vinegar, sugar, seeds and turmeric. Heat well.

5Add squash mix.

6Bring to a full boil.

7Fill jars and seal.
