- 4 qt. sliced squash
- 6 medium or 4 large onions
- 3 to 4 bell peppers
- 5 c. sugar
- 3 c. vinegar
- 1 1/2 Tbsp. celery seed
- 1 1/2 Tbsp. turmeric
- 1 Tbsp. mustard seed
Directions

1Sprinkle salt over squash, onions and bell peppers; let set for 3 hours in ice; drain and add sugar, vinegar, celery seed, turmeric and mustard seed.

2Bring to a rolling boil.

3Put in jars and seal.
