  • 2 lb. bag hash browns
  • 1 stick margarine, melted
  • 1 pt. sour cream
  • 1/2 c. chopped onion
  • 1 can cream of chicken soup
  • 1/2 c. grated Cheddar cheese
  • 1 tsp. salt
  • pinch of pepper
  • grated Cheddar cheese (for topping)

Directions

    Mix hash browns, melted margarine, sour cream, onion, soup, 1/2 cup grated cheese, salt and pepper in a large bowl.

    Transfer to a 13 x 9-inch glass baking dish. Top with more Cheddar cheese or crumbled corn flakes. Bake at 350° for 1 hour.
