  • 4 c. flour
  • 1 egg
  • 1 tsp. baking pwd.
  • 2 c. shortening = 1 c. butter/1 cup crisco
  • 1 tsp. cider vinegar
  • pinch of salt
  • water

Directions

    Beat the egg and add water to make 3/4 c. liquid, add vinegar and baking pwd. to egg mixture, stir into flour and shortening mixture.

    Refrigerate for 30 min. before rolling out.

    This is excellent and can be worked over and over.

    Also if not all used, it can be wrapped and frozen for later use.

    Enjoy.

    Makes 2 double pies.
