  • 1 1/4 c. sifted all-purpose flour
  • 1/4 tsp. baking powder
  • 1/4 tsp. salt
  • 4 Tbsp. butter
  • 4 Tbsp. shortening (Crisco)
  • 3-4 Tbsp. ice water or milk

Directions

    Sift dry ingredients together. Blend in shortening and butter, 1/2 at a time until it looks like coarse corn meal. Use 3 or 4 Tbsp. ice water or milk to form dough.

    Too much liquid will make it sticky.

    Refrigerate until chilled.

    Will keep in refrigerator for 1 week.

    Roll out on floured board to fit pie plate.
