- 1/2 c. water
- 2 tsp. lemon juice

1Cut lard into flour and baking powder.

3Add 1/2 cup water and 2 teaspoons lemon juice; add to flour/lard mixture. This will keep in icebox for several weeks.

4Makes 3 double crust pies.
