- 4 c. flour
- 2 tsp. salt
- 1/2 c. water
- 1 large egg
- 1 Tbsp. sugar
- 1 3/4 c. shortening
- 1 Tbsp. white vinegar
Directions

1In large bowl sift together flour, sugar, and salt.

2Cut in shortening with a pastry blender until crumbly.

3In a small bowl beat water, vinegar and egg.

4Add to flour.

5Cover bowl and chill at least 1/2 an hour before rolling.

6This can be kept in the refrigerator for a week.
