- 1 c. plain flour
- 1/2 tsp. salt
- 1/3 c. vegetable shortening
- 3 Tbsp. cold water
Directions

1Combine flour and salt; work in the shortening until like coarse meal.

2Sprinkle water over flour mixture until completely moistened.

3Form into a ball.

4Roll dough and fit into a 9-inch pie pan.

5Prick pastry.

6Bake in 375° oven for 5 minutes; reduce heat to 350° and cook 15 to 20 minutes.
