Ingredients
- 3 cup all-purpose flour
- 1 1/4 cup shortening
- 1 tsp salt
- 1 tbsp granulated sugar
- 1/2 tsp baking powder
- 1/2 tsp baking soda
- 1 eggs
- 1/3 cup cold water
- 1 tbsp vinegar
Directions

1Mix together the dry ingredients with the shortening so that it's fine crumbs.

2Mix together 1 egg, 1/3 cup cold water, 1 tbsp clear vinegar in separate bowl.

3Stir wet ingredients into dry mixture.

4Divide this into 4 balls and you have your 4 crusts.

5Roll out each ball on a floured surface a bit larger than your pie pan.

6When you transfer the crust to the pie pan, fold the crust in half downwards, then fold it across so it is 1/4 the size.

7Then when you place in pan simply unfold

8Once you have the filling in, wet the rim of the bottom crust to bind the two together.

9Cut slits in the top crust for ventilation.

10Sprinkle a little sugar on top for some added flavor and appearance.
