- 3 c. sifted plain flour
- 1/2 tsp. salt
- 1 1/4 c. shortening and 1 c. Crisco
- 1 egg, beaten
- 5 Tbsp. very cold water
- 1 Tbsp. vinegar
Directions

1Cut shortening into flour and salt.

2Mix last three ingredients together.

3Add all at once to flour mixture.

4Mix and proceed for any pastry.

5Makes 2 double pie crusts.

6Keeps well in refrigerator until needed.
